Fresh start for 2014
Deleted my tumblr cause i was just blogging instead of drawing and draining my creativity.
I don't want to ever have a tumblr again, ever. No matter how many funny posts there are, it didnt enhance my life in the end.
Mostly it was about getting notes and likes and stuff, hardly one would comment anymore and some artists even lost skill which i didnt think was possible but it is. It's the same thing as deviantart where ppl don't comment anymore and just fave your stuff. i have too many sites i would be on and that annoys me. I also thought of the artists which i like and whom i follow, they created a tumblr but deleted or didnt even start with tumblr so begin with cause they have no time for it.
Jana Schirmer for instance doesnt have one(for that i know at least) and my favourite artist Saskia Gutekunst had two but deleted them...guessing for even the purpose of it being a waste of time.
Sure, Blogger is still a bloging website but as someone said, you don't have the pressure of notes and followers etc.
Many of my artistfriends arent as active on their tumblrs cause they upload their art to actuall ART supporting sites which as tumblr is just a huge waste of time where as everyone is offended and there is so much porn on there......i had a nsfw blog and its outragous how popular you can get through nsfw stuff and i've never been a artist for that and i don't think i can convince myself to do so.
So i'm just going to stay active on Devart, CGhub eventually, twitter and pixiv.
